Fire Alarms
We here at kengary electric can repair your existing fire alarm, replace an alarm or if you’ve never had a fire alarm, we can also install a brand new one to BS5839 British Standard. All alarms supplied can have multiple zones and can also be fitted with call points.
We have two alarm systems to choose from. The first one being a hard wired on. The advantage of this is it requires no batteries. Ideal for businesses and factories.
We van also supply and fit a wireless one. The best thing about this one is no holes to drill, which in a house will leave you with a neeter finish.
We also carry out periodic testing, which is normally required annually.
Sockets and lighting
How annoying is it that there is never a plug socket where you need it. A light switch that’s behind the furniture or your workshop lighting is very dull and you can’t see what you’re doing.

There are many types of fuseboards and are the most important part, which is responsible for the safety of your electrics and more importantly the user.
We recommend a check every year. We offer upgrades from old style push in fuseboards, Full brand new installations. We cater from the small things like electric heaters all th3 way up to factory installations.

PAT Testing
We at Kengaryelectric are pleased to offer you our extensice PAT testing service.
We have the equipment and expertise to teat all of your appliances, electrical goods and commercial electrical tools. Anything that has a plug, we can test it.
The health and safety executive has said that £25% of electrical fires come from untested electrical item and are unsafe for anyone to use.
The health and safety act 1974 states that equipment used by the public, employees, shops and when an appliance has been repaired must be PAT Tested to ensure its users safety.
Re Wires
In general a buildings wiring should last for around 25 years, if it is maintained properly. Most properties including homes, offices and factories wiring still have their original wiring and replacing it never enteres the owners head.
Here at Kengary we offer health checks, full testing of older electrical systems as well as replacing part or full electrical systems in a timely manner.
All of our employees are fully trained and the finished works will be extensively tested, you’ll also be given a certificate to advise what has been done and piece of mind that your home or place of work is electrically sound.

Electrical installation reports
Over the last couple of years the government have introduced a need for electrical installation reports, dut to a survey that reported that revealed that 10 people die and 750 people die to to dangerous electrics. We recommend that a domestic building be checked every 10 years Commercial and industrial building be checked every 2 to 3 years.
Many of us have done some sort of DIY in the home like changing light fittings or conceling the odd wire here and there. Kengarry can help with this. We supply these reports, which are needed if you’ve done some sort of electrical DIY or you just need a safety check to ensure peoples safety while using electrical items.
